Fixing Windows Vitual PC Slow Network

by z3n on Apr.27, 2010, under windows

Problem:

Windows Virtual PC Network is slow.

Solution:

- On the host computer, backup the Registry, just in case, and then:

- Run Registry Editor (regedit.exe) and select the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters

- Create new DWORD value named DisableTaskOffload and set its value to 1.

- Restart the computer.

Yes this is a ripoff article!!!
